Rajmita’s life is a story of struggle and strength.
At an age when most children are free to play, she balances her schoolwork with responsibilities far beyond her years — helping her mother with household chores, taking goats to graze, and washing utensils, all while living in her grandmother’s modest house.

Six years ago, her father abandoned the family, leaving her mother to work as a farm labourer, earning just enough to survive. There were days when they didn’t even have food to eat.

Yet, Rajmita stands tall with discipline, courage, and hope.
She is a strong competitor in academics, a winner of several dance certificates, and is learning harmonium and singing. With support from the Foundation, her family now receives raw food supplies each month, giving her the strength to focus on her studies.
